subforge — Cookie Policy
Effective date: June 2026
Last updated: 16 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how subforge uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
The short version
subforge uses one cookie, and it's strictly necessary: it keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party trackers, and we do not sell your data. Because our only cookie is essential to provide a service you've asked for, we don't need to show a cookie consent banner for it under UK cookie law (PECR).
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. It lets the site remember things between requests — for example, that you're logged in.
The cookie we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
subhub-session |
Keeps you authenticated after you sign in. Stores an opaque session token only — no personal data is held in the cookie itself. | Strictly necessary | Session / up to 7 days |
This cookie is set with the HttpOnly (not accessible to JavaScript), Secure
(only sent over HTTPS), and SameSite=Lax flags to protect it.
Cookies we do not use
- No Google Analytics or other analytics cookies.
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No social-media or third-party embed cookies.
- No cross-site tracking.
(For operations we use server-side metrics that do not rely on cookies or track individuals across sites.)
Managing cookies
Because our only cookie is essential, blocking it will prevent you from staying signed in. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but the signed-in parts of the Service won't work without the session cookie.
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first, as required by law.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed.
